Clarification re serving Suspensions

When a player is given a games suspension if he decides to play during that period with say, a Junior team he must serve his full suspension when he finishes with the Junior team, whether that be 3 games or 3 seasons. In other words the player must miss the number of games when he is available for his Mafa team and the suspension cannot be served by the club. A player with a dated suspension cannot play in any football under the auspices of the SFA until he has completed his suspension. A dated suspension will normally end at mid-day on the expiry date.

Clubs must check that players have correctly served their suspensions

before allowing them to play again otherwise loss of points/ties, fines and

further suspensions may be imposed.
