The Premier League commenced in season 1990/91 following

reconstruction of the Midlands AFA league structure.  The top

12 clubs in the old Division One were promoted to form the new

Midlands Premier  League.  The champions are awarded The

Elder Rosebowl donated by Tom & Babs Elder (Wormit).
